Creative Thursdays

The Creative Thursdays have been going great! It’s so exciting to think it’s only four weeks until the group perform their new amazing show. Everyone involved has done great but a big thank you to Kiela and Hafsa who have taken a lead. It’s been great having Morven supporting us and Claire (a Trustee of Manor Church and Community Project) has given her time to help us too. The children will be performing as part of the S2 Christmas Showcase of Local Talent, taking place in two locations across two nights.

At the shows we’ll also be showcasing their art work produced this year too – with people able to take home a piece of art for a donation towards the project. Tickets will be available soon but dates and times will be:
Weds. 21st Dec. Temple Park Centre, 197 Harborough Avenue, S2
Thurs 22 Dec. Arbourthorne Centre,33a Edenhall Road, S2

Both shows are 4pm until 6:30pm with an interval including light refreshments.

None of what we do could happen without the ongoing support of donations. This term we’ve been grateful to Kerry who trekked across the desert to raise money for us and S2 Food Bank. April also represented us at the Co-op who have raised over £2,500 for us this year and selected us as their charity for next year too. You can support us without it costing you a penny too!

This month we have a Christmas Tree in the Cathedral as part of their Christmas activities people can donate cash or vote for their favourite tree. The tree with the most votes wins £250 for their charity! Voting will also take place online and the link will be shared once it goes live.
