The monthly sessions are supported by MASKK team members but will primarily be led by a parent who has created her own growing business creating fantastic gifts and treats. Sabina will be passing on creative skills and techniques to enable parents/carers to make a range of products to both benefit themselves or make great gifts for others.
Parents, or those with caring responsibilities, for children of any age are welcome, their child could be 6 months or 16 years. Our aim is to engage parents who may be isolated or just want or need something to do, to get out and meet more people.
There will be an area set up with some toys and resources so parents can bring their younger children who may not be in school. The craft activities will take place in small groups at 11am and 12pm and someone will be able to support your young child while you take part. Get in touch if your older child is on a part time timetable and you’d both like to come along too.
Throughout the year there will be various themes and we will be inviting other organisations and groups along to share what they do.
