Sheffield City Council have confirmed the dates for their commissioned Short Breaks (SNIPS) sessions at MASKK (although not the funding – as of March 2024)
See the dates below for your child’s groups. Snacks and fruit are available each session but remember to send a packed lunch. Please also remember a water bottle and spare clothes. We love to get out in the garden in often messy so please dress your child appropriately.
These sessions are for children with special educational needs and disabilities to come together and play while providing parents and carers with a little break.
New referrals are via Sheffield City Council only – for more information visit:
Please beaware our groups run at full capacity, with a waiting list, and so it is not possible to move missed sessions.
If your child is going to miss a session please let us know, if a child misses 3 consecutive sessions without letting us know SNIPS may tell us to end your service and offer the place to a child on the waiting list.

Saturday Dates
The Saturday Club runs from 10am until 3pm and is term time only, there’s no session the Saturdays at the start or end of each school holiday week.

Holiday Dates
The Holiday Club runs from 10am until 3pm and is commissioned for 3 days per week. Sheffield City Council commission no sessions during Christmas or on inset days. The holidays are commissed based on the standard Sheffield City Council school calandar, these may be differnt from faith schools or those outside of Sheffield.
This year the summer holidays are for the full 6 weeks.
