We offer a variety of volunteer roles, each suited to different interests and skill sets. Some opportunities are perfect for younger volunteers, while others are designed for individuals aged 18 and over.
Volunteer Playworker
Our Volunteer Playworkers help across all our activities by being there to support the children to play. This could include helping us organise play spaces or events or helping prepare snacks and meals in the kitchen. Our Volunteer Playworker Helper role is great for young people too needing volunteer experience for school or Duke of Edinburgh Award.
Suitable from age 14 to become a Young Helper
Community Crew
We are looking for volunteers who want to support us in supporting our community, providing spaces and events for local families and young people to feel encouraged and valued.
This role is perfect for anyone, aged 16+, who would like to support either regular activities or one-off events. You will get the opportunity to work with young people and gain hands-on experience in assisting with activities and planning events. We are particularly looking for people who would like to help with:
- Planning events
- Packing, transporting, and setting up for events
- Prepare snacks, drinks and refreshments
- Sharing skills to create activities
SEND Sundays Super Team
Our SEND Sunday Super Team are all volunteers with a passion to create environments that include all children.
SEND Sundays are stay and play activities for children with SEND and their families. Bi-weekly on Sundays, 11:30am until 2:30pm we seek people to help make families feel welcome, help with the tidying up and help ensure a safe space.
Ideal for those aged 16+.
Trustee
MASKK is currently seeking new Trustees (aged 18+) to join our dedicated team and help guide the future of our charity.
Just like School Governors, Trustees play a vital role in shaping the direction of our organisation, ensuring accountability, and offering strategic guidance. It’s a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your community while developing new skills or applying your existing expertise in a rewarding way.
