MASKK have started to host trainee Art Therapists here at Temple Park Centre. These students, working on their Masters at Sheffield Hallam University, are studying alongside gaining hands on experience.
The students are on placement with MASKK one or two days per week depending on their study programme and in that time are able to provide sessions for children and adults.
Sessions are offered for a full term (taking a break for school holidays) and provided at no cost to you.
There is sometimes a misconception that therapy is only for people with severe mental health issues. However therapy can benefit anyone who is struggling with emotional, behavioral, or relationship issues, regardless of the severity.
We see this new opportunity as potentially beneficial for many of the children who access MASKK. Watch the video below for more information.
Linzi is our trainee for this academic year and is based at MASKK Mondays from 9:30am until 2pm and Wednesdays 10:30am until 6:30pm.
