Earlier this year, we shared our Get Out This Winter project and the impact it had on children and young people in our community. Thanks to the fantastic response and the clear benefits we’ve seen, we’re delighted to say the activities are continuing.

Building on the success of those sessions, we are proud to be working with the support of The Green Estate CIC to take the project forward. The enthusiasm, energy and engagement from everyone who took part over the winter months showed just how valuable these opportunities are, and we’re excited to offer even more to help Connect our Community.

As the days get brighter and the weather improves, we’re looking forward to introducing new activities, spending more time outdoors, and giving children and young people more opportunities to explore, move, learn, and connect. While the core aim remains the same – supporting wellbeing through fun, inclusive experiences – the change in season opens the door to trying something new.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has already taken part. Your support, enthusiasm and feedback help shape what we do next and ensure these sessions continue to meet the needs of the community.

If you or your child have attended any of the sessions so far, we’d really appreciate it if you could take a few moments to share your thoughts by completing our feedback form:

Your feedback plays a vital role in helping us improve and grow the project, and in securing ongoing support for future activities.

We can’t wait to welcome both familiar faces and new participants in the coming weeks as the project continues to develop. Watch this space for updates – and we’ll see you soon!
