Dear all,

We have been monitoring the situation with Covid-19 closely and working to keep services open for those who needed us. However the MASKK Trustees have had to make the difficult decision to temporarily end all face to face provision. Sheffield City Council have instructed MASKK to end SNIPS services and due to ongoing other pressures we must also temporarily close the after school and holiday clubs. Members of our team will be working from home, checking on emails and responding to messages from parents. If you call us and we do not answer please leave a message and Joanna or Craig will get back to you, however emails and texts will be the best method for now.

Families who were accessing our after school club should contact their child’s school to discuss your childcare needs, they might be able to help or they can sign post to someone that can. Sheffield City Council are launching a service later to help with this.

For families whose children would have attended our Short Breaks (SNIPS) services, if you are in urgent need of help or assistance you can contact SNIPS on 0114 2735368 or email SnipsBusinessSupport@sheffield.gov.uk.

Maintaining good mental health and wellbeing is important at this time, please click here to read advice from Sheffield Children’s NHS.

We look forward to seeing you all again in the near future, in the meantime please all remember to stay safe and follow the Governments advice which can be found at https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus. The Director of Public Health in Sheffield has also provided this useful advice about Social Distancing for children and young people, reminding us all that children should NOT be playing out and socialising at this time, click here to download a copy.
